The Improbability of Love Tea Lovers Gift Box£28.50 More info & buy The Destailleur Waddesdon Chocolate design: Inspired by the châteaux of the Valois, Baron Ferdinand employed Gabriel-Hippolyte Destailleur to build him his own French-style country house, with towers and external staircases such as he had seen while in Touraine. An early drawing of this features on this range.

Rimapere 2016, Marlborough, New Zealand£21.95 More info & buy Rimapere 2016 delivers pronounced aromatics of ripe lemon, passion fruit, grapefruit, pine needles and steely minerality. The palate despite being vibrant and fresh, has a rich almost weighty texture. There is wonderful purity and complexity and a decent finish with crisp floral notes. Rimapere is a very defined Sauvignon with tremendous concentration - its a million miles from those dilute New Zealand Sauvignon's that flood the shelves of UK supermarkets. The weight and intensity of Rimpere is likely to dominate delicate seafood dishes, so be sure to pair with a dish that has a little more intensity of flavour.
Platon H Umbrella
£34.50More info & buy Waddesdon's 2017 summer exhibition includes work by artist Platon H. Platon H uses advanced digital techniques to reveal the prevously unseen beauty of animals, birds and insects discovered by or named after the naturalist Walter Rothschild (1868-1937). Our product range uses Platon's variations on madecassia rothschildi, often know as The Jewel Beetle.
Gran Malbec 2013, Flechas de Los Andes, Argentina£23.95 More info & buy This is an inky and incredibly intense Malbec, characters which are evident on both the palate and nose. After aeration the nose reveals notes of blackberry liqueur, roasted coffee, vanilla, crushed flowers and minerals. The tannins are sweet yet fairly prominent, so it is advised that you give this wine an hour or two in a decanter and serve with a protein rich dish. The fruit on the palate is incredibly dense and concentrated with a tar-like edge. This is serious Malbec that demands your attention, and one that should grace the dinner table - certainly not the lunch table!

Borrago #47 Paloma Blend£19.95 More info & buy With no calories, no alcohol and no sugar you would be forgiven for expecting a bland non-descript drink. But thankfully you'd be very wrong indeed. Somehow, magic we suspect, Borrago delivers layers of spice, citrus and smoky peppery notes. You can enjoy this interesting drink without guilt and wake up the next day feeling fresh and without a fuzzy head. One small piece of advice, pour sparingly - 20cl for a glass is adequate such is the intensity of flavour. Bravo to the team at Borrago!
